The international organization against mines Geneva Call visited guerrilla areas and had talks with HPG (People Defense Forces) guerrillas. During the meeting, Geneva Call Organization expressed its appreciation for HPG’s sensibility in battle practice on the basis of international agreements.

Autonomy", Parliament President Şahin emphasized, "We do not recognize
any other congress or assembly. [...] The parliament is to be addressed
in Turkish by law".
ANF 20.12.2010- BDP Co-Chair, Gultan Kisanak was in Silvan. Addressing the crowd Kisanak
said that "if the state claims ‘to be’ in Silvan, this must be the
reason why it can be here. The duty of governor and police is to enable
people do their acts without any preventions. This is how it works in
democratic countries where the security measures during such protest
acts are taken to protect the demonstration right.
Soft-genocide in Kurdistan, Iranian ecological terrorism
Kardo Bokani 20.12.2010- Over the course of last few months the Iranian soldiers have set fires
on the Kurdish forests in more than 800 times destroying more than 7000
hectares of lands. The Iranian militaries have argued that the forests
and the jungles have been used by the Kurdish guerrillas; hence they
should blaze in inferno for the ‘sin’ they have committed against the
rule of God on the earth.
At least five Kurds were injured in a bomb attack against a demonstration in Silvan, a district of Diyarbakir province. According to eyewitnesses an unknown assailant threw hand grenade among
demonstrators commemorating victims of Turkish military operation
against leftist prisoners which left 28 dead and hundreds wounded.
HPG carried out a responsive attack on Turkish army
Kurdish Info - Kurdistan Defence Forces (HPG) carried out a responsive attack and killed one Turkish military. Last week HPG warned Turkish army to stop its military operation in Kurdistan to avoid further bloodshed. Turkish military operations carried out with no regard to HPG's warnings.
65 Kurdish workers killed by Iranian soldiers in 2010
According to ANF's records at least 65 Kurdish workers who are forced to work on the pseudo-borders of Kurdistan were killed by the Iranian Militaries since January 2010.Two Kurdish workers named Othman Muhammedi and Mahmoud Minehzaded were
killed in Iranian-Iraqi border last week. Their bodies were taken from
Iranian soldiers by their relatives and buried in Mahabad.
Ocalan: This is the last chance for a democratic solution
Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan says the next six months is the last peace for a peaceful democratic solution of the Kurdish Question. As the unilateral ceasefire declared by KCK set to expire next June, Ocalan warned this period might be the last chance for Turkish government to take steps toward a peaceful solution.
