SPECIAL FILE: The Obscure History of the Special Forces Command
Kurdish Info 01.01.2010- There are three agencies in the Operation Command of the Turkish General Staff which are engaged with internal security issues. These are: The Department of Psychological Operations, The Department of Internal Security Operations and The Special Forces Command. The most conspicuous of these agencies is the Special Forces Command.
The Mesopotamia Social Forum, which agrees to the principles of the
World Social Forum, took place in Diyarbakir at Sumerpark Comunal
living space between 26-29 September 2009. The forum in which thousands
of activists from more than 50 countries as from the Middle East,
Europe, Latin America participated, discussed the struggles against war
and neo-liberal policies, the women movement, environmental movement
and the youth movement, the need for a new world and the struggle for
liberation. The number of participants, its diverseness, and the
enthusiasm gave us the power to continue this social forum.

Statement 1 Sept 2009- Today we celebrate 1st September, World Peace Day, with high hopes for
democracy, peace and freedom in the Middle East and all around the
world. On this day we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our leader
Abdullah Ocalan for all his relentless efforts for peace. We also would
like to salute and commemorate all our martyrs who fell during
our struggle for peace and freedom.

suicide and her family left their own lands with this agony carried 14
years. Family will make denouncement about the soldier and village
guards that one of them is currently a member of AKP town council.Ş.A’s life story is one of painful stories in the Region. It took 14
years to speak out about it because of fear, shame and heavy
oppressions on Kurdish people. Being exposed to considerable risk
cannot be belittled by some one who lives in the Region where army and
village guards’ violence and terror were freely traveling around.

MAFDAD /M.Sakar-Every year, on the 24th of July, the ‘removal of censorship’ is celebrated in Turkey. In 2008 the hundredth year was celebrated with official statements. People who may not know the truths of Turkey will not know that these types of celebrations in Turkey are done to show something that really is not there.
