AP-A clash between troops and Kurdish rebels near Turkey's southeast border with Iraq left 10 rebels and two soldiers dead, the military said Saturday.

Council of Europe investigates cases against mayors of pro-Kurdish DTP
Zaman-The Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, a consultative body attached to the Strasbourg-based Council of Europe, has sent a delegation to Turkey on a fact-finding mission concerning court cases opened against mayors and members of the pro-Kurdish Democratic Society Party (DTP).

Kurdish party supporters attack nationalist party office in eastern Turkey
AP - More than 1,000 supporters of a pro-Kurdish party on Wednesday attacked the office of a nationalist party with stones and clubs in eastern Turkey, prompting police to fire into the air to disperse the crowds, media reports said.
