CENTURY. Abdullah Ocalan, leader of the Kurdish revolutionary movement, the PKK,

kidnapped and arrested in 1999. He is now serving a life sentence in a

While the bodies of 7 HPG guerrillas who lost their lives during the military operation of the Turkish army in Hassa district of Hatay, were brought to Adana, it is reported that the families will appeal to the prosecutor's office on Tuesday for taking the bodies.
BDP Mardin MP Emine Ayna remarked that national unity is the one thing missing in the solution of the Kurdish problem. Drawing attention to the Amara March, Ayna said that: “All of us are starting out with the sense of national unity, regardless of the past and your political spectrum. Civil disobedience campaign; “no” to pledge in schools for Kurdish children
A new step was taken by the Kurdish people as part of the civil
disobedience campaign, besides the ongoing Democratic Solution Tents
across Turkey. Kurdish people have requested the government to lift the
oath taken in schools every morning at elementary level.
Iran: 13,479 cases of human rights violations in a month
According to a report by Iranian Human Right Society, 13,479 cases of human right violations have been reported only in a month- March. Due to the difficulties of obtaining this information, the report only has enumerated a limited number of the cases.
