topics DIYARBAKIR (DIHA) - The autopsy report of Ahmet Okur, who passed away in a military operation conducted in the Karacehennem Forest, Bingöl, indicates that 29 bullets were fired on his corpse. Attr. Fuat Coşacak, evaluating the post mortem examination Okur, said: "Almost every part of Okur had been shot, even his body was continued to be shot after his death. He had been dragged with rope".

The post mortem examination of Okur prepared by Bingöl Public Prosecutor's Office revealed striking findings that 29 bullets had been fired at the body of Ahmet Okur (Serxwebun), who lost his life in the military operation the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) mounted against People's Defense Forces (HPG,) in the Karacehennem Forest, on June 24 against. 14 Bullets have been determined to have hit Okur's chest, back, arms and hands while 14 to his hip, legs and feet. There is a whole of 15.8 cm diameter in the waist, says Okur's post mortem report, a 2.2-cm loss of skin on the upper part of his nose, so his nasal bridge is visible on the surface. No determination on the shot distance takes part in the autopsy.

The Attorney of the Okur Family, Fuat Coşacak told DIHA that he examined Okur's body in Bingöl State Hospital, and that "I myself have seen that the left-hand of his skull had fallen to pieces and his face skin had been sloughed. According to this clinical evidence, due to the lack of bullet trace it can be said that he had been dragged with rope, and his head had been hit with a stone. The bones in his legs were being shaken within the skin"

Expressing his opinion that there was hardly no part on Okur's body to be shot even a bullet,Attr. Coşacak argued that the number of bullets were fired on the body is almost countless, which shows that his corpse were shot after his death, too.

'Indeed, there was the possibility to catch him alive'

Claiming that the great number of bullets shows that he could be captured alive, but this was not done, Coşacak said; "if there had been clashes these dead people should, too, have responded to them. There is no sound evidence on the issue. I myself have seen the corpses; it is possible to say what was done to the bodies can be appraised as barbarity".

Although the Bingöl 49th Domestic Security Brigade had the possibility to catch him alive, it did commit murder, added Coşacak and that they would file charges in the Bingöl Public Prosecutor's Office.
