topics KURDISTAN, June 30 (DozaMe.org) - Relatives of the HPG guerrillas that were martyred in clashes on June 24 in the Idil district of Sirnak have reported that the bodies of the guerrillas are lost.

The relatives of the martyred guerrillas Zahide Kurt and Kemal Ismailogullari had gone to the Idil State Hospital to retrieve the bodies. They were told by hospital official that the bodies of the HPG guerrillas were not in the hospital.

The relatives have now filed applications to the Republican Prosecutor of Sirnak, demanding them to find and give back the bodies to them. The prosecutor has not yet answered.

The Turkish authorities ill treatment of the bodies of martyred HPG guerrillas have led to stark reactions from the people of northern Kurdistan (southeastern Turkey). One Kurd has been killed and hundreds have been wounded in the riots that have erupted due to the authorities treatment of the bodies.
