KCK: Germany should go back on its wrong policies

siyaset Kurdish Info ANF 24.07.2008-The presidency of the KCK’s governing council has made a statement regarding the arrest of a Kurdish politician by German authorities straight after HPG guerrillas had released three German climbers, in the statement the KCK called for Germany to go back on its wrong policies.
The KCK made it clear that they have no problems with the German people, “As it is well known three German nationals were taken by HPG forces for entering a battlefield without prior permission. Through the calls made to our movement and the attempts of the administration of the organisation these three tourists were released by our forces despite the ongoing operations of the Turkish Army”. The German Climbers were taken hostage by a group of guerrillas on Mount Ararat on the 9th of July and released on the 20th of July.

“Germany must take note of the good will our organisation has shown” KCK claimed it is not an enemy of the German people. KCK continued: “Neither the Kurdish people or our organisation is an enemy of the German people. Therefore it is hard to understand the enemy like approach of the German government towards our people and our organisation. Also, it is very suspicious as to why a Kurdish politician is being put under arrest as soon as the tourists were released. This approach is not in the interests of Germany. We once again call on the German government to go back on their wrongful policies towards our organisation.
